K2 Swimming Pool Crawley

Finished in 2005 and now run by Freedom Leisure the K2 swimming pool and sports complex has a wonderful 8 lane 50 meter pool. With it’s moving floor and retractable booms the pool can also be used for 25 meter events when necessary whilst also allowing for a swimmers warm down area.

Parking: K2 has a very large free car park however it does become full quite quickly, if the car park is full they tend to direct you across the main road and use an area their as additional parking at busy times

Public transport: The K2 swimming pool is also well served by public transport, with buses every 15 minutes and the Fastway bus service stopping nearby.

Gala entrance and program costs: it’s usually around £5.00 per adults per day (Swimmers are free)

Food and drink: In the entrance there is a reasonable café selling a selection of hot and cold food, it’s usually open most of the day, there are also plenty of drinks machines dotted around the complex.

Disabled access facilities
As the K2 centre is quite a new complex they have expellant disabled access and facilities. The special facilities include 17 disabled parking bays close to the main reception, all areas are accessible for wheelchair users, and changing rooms are accessed using a RADAR key.
Lifts to the viewing gallery and wheelchair spaces in the gallery make it easy to access, there are also toilet facilities in the same level.
