As a previous entrant of competitions held at Eastbourne we are pleased to advise the Town is again

hosting the following two SER series championship events this year :-

· Saturday 17th July: Sussex & SER Open 5 km Water Championships over starting 1.30 pm

· Sunday 18th July: Eastbourne Maritime Open Water 2 km competition starting at 2.30 pm

The start and finish of both races will again be from the beach opposite the Langham hotel and entry

forms are appended. The courses are as per 2009 (see attached maps). To avoid disappointment it is

suggested entries are submitted well before the closing date (entries are being accepted on an as received

basis). We look forward to seeing you again at one or both competitions. Should you decide

to have a weekend at the seaside please see attached list of sensibly priced accommodation within

walking distance of the start/finish beach.
