St.Bede’s Swimmers moving forward

This was St.Bede’s swimmers first long course meet of the season where the aim was to race the best they can and to improve on there racing skills.

William Condron ( 15 ) was on great form just missing out on his national qualifying time, William took one Gold 100 Free 55.92, two Silvers 100 Back 1.03.84, 100Breast 1.13.32. and one Bronze 200 Breast 2.44.31 , William took some eight personal best times throughout the weekend.

Also having a good weekend was Amelia Mictchell (15 ) swimming three personal best times 200 IM, 50Free,100Free. Andrew Horsfall-Turner picked up one Gold 400IM 5.00.09, Bronze 200Fly 2.18.32 which was also a best time. Stef Ketley (17) Gold 400 Free 4.39.77.

Overall the squad produced some good times with some close to National Qualification. Between them they had 50 best times and 35 top eight finishers

It was nice to see Cristina Richards (15) showing some return to form swims 7th in the 200 Back, 8th 400 Free, 5th 400IM.

County's are over for another year overall we had a good championship finishing 3rd overall and 1st men's championship . Well done.
